I had to do a double take when I was told that Jonah Roth’s single is a debut, I simply couldn’t believe it based on its brilliant quality. It is an incredibly strong debut right through to the mixing, I was extremely impressed on my initial listen. ‘As Long As’ is a soft, relaxing dream that almost translates to a lullaby, it is absolutely gorgeous.

The song opens with, what sounds to me like a glockenspiel or a kalimba weaving majestically through pulsating synth strings to then be met with Jonah’s dreamy vocals.

Building synth transports you to a climax powdered by the most joyful harmonies. This love song harbours many complimentative lyrics such as “as long as I've got time then I love you” and you can just tell they were written from the heart.

Fuelled with psychedelic, indie influences, I was mesmerised by ‘As Long As’. From the impressive vocal stylings, harmonies and wonderful mixing to the dainty piano solo that plays the song out, it is truly blissful.

Show Jonah some love by spinning his record, it's been on repeat for me and deserves more attention!
